All-Purpose Clerk

Part-Time - Weekend-Only Position

We are seeking positive, dependable individuals to join our team. Candidates must be able to work in a fast?paced environment, provide excellent customer service, and work collaboratively with others.

Duties Include:

As an All-Purpose Clerk you may be assigned to one of several departments within the store - Your primary role will be as a Checker, but you could also be assigned to Produce, Grocery, Freight Crew, Bakery or Deli. The All-Purpose Clerk is responsible for promoting sales within the assigned department, answering our customers' questions, responding to customer request for products, and accurately placing special orders.

As an All-Purpose Clerk. You will need to ring out customers on the cash register, scanning items, checking IDs when selling age restricted items, weighing produce, processing credit cards, and checking payments, redeem food stamps and coupons, and making changes. Assisting customer questions, resolving complaints, and leaving customers with a positive impression of the store.

The All-Purpose Clerk practices safe food handling procedures, maintains a clean work area, and is orderly and free from safety hazards. The clerk receives, inspects, and logs products of accuracy of shipment and qualify as well as stocks, rotates and merchandise to maintain freshness and department appeal. Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, stocking shelves, and pulling cardboard as needed.

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills

Must be 18+

Pay: $14.50 - $21.92 Depending on experience
